Where Electrons Meet Embers

AshForged is a maker studio rooted in the belief that the best way to understand something is to build it. We work across disciplines — from precision CNC machining and custom PCB design to blacksmithing and 3D printing — because the most interesting problems live at the intersections.

Every project is an excuse to learn something new, solve a real problem, and share the process. Whether it's a custom irrigation controller, a telescope mount, or a convention badge system — if it can be forged, machined, printed, or soldered, it belongs here.

Tools of the Trade

Electronics & PCB

Custom circuit design in KiCad, ESP32 microcontrollers, JLCPCB fabrication. From grow light drivers to IoT sensor arrays.

CNC Machining

Precision aluminum and brass work on the Nomad 3. EDC tools, enclosures, and mechanical components milled to spec.

🔥

Blacksmithing

Coal and steel. Learning the oldest fabrication trade — forging functional hardware and decorative ironwork by hammer and anvil.

3D Printing

Bambu Lab P1S with AMS. Rapid prototyping, functional prints, multi-material builds. From first draft to final part in hours.

🪵

Woodworking

Rocker boxes, enclosures, furniture. Combining traditional joinery with CNC precision for hybrid builds.

Content & Education

How We Build

Function First

Every project solves a real problem. Aesthetics matter, but the thing has to work.

Learn in Public

Failures are content. The process is the product. Share what you learn so others can build on it.

Cross-Pollinate

The best ideas come from mixing disciplines. A PCB designer who smiths. A machinist who codes. Keep the boundaries blurry.

Own the Stack

Understand every layer — from the silicon to the software to the steel. Depth creates independence.

Follow the Build

New projects dropping soon. Stay in the loop.
